Vice President for Finance

The St. Louis based Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, an alliance of leading business schools and nationally prominent corporations, is pleased to announce an exceptional opportunity to join the cabinet of this dynamic organization. Working closely with the Executive Director and the Finance Committee of the board, the new Vice President for Finance will assume responsiblility for all fiscal operations, coordinate insurance, employee benefits, and other recurring, finance-related negotiations, manage investment policy, and coordinate with IT and HR functions. The VP for Finance will supervise a team of three, and oversee a budget of $15 million annually.

Qualifications: The winning candidate will have a thorough understanding of non-profit GAAP, and a history of success in managing and reporting financial functions in a complex organization. Experience with grants and post award reporting will be a plus. Strong management and strategic skills, preference for a team approach, effective communications and interpersonal skills, analytic ability, and a strong process orientation are necessary. A Bachelor's degree in accounting is required; a Master's is preferred.
