Job Details
Responsibilities: The Financial Officer is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the daily financial operations of the Tribe finances. The Financial Officer will develop and maintain effective working relationships with elected, administrative, and program officials to ensure cooperative and efficient operation of the Tribe’s financial department. The functions require the exercise of mature judgment and timely maintenance of all fiscal books of record and the preparation of all other financial documents and reports in matters pertaining to fiscal administration. The employee is responsible for the management of Tribal cash balances, Federal and State reporting and the maintenance of internal fiscal controls.
