Edna Wyena

Program Specialist

Last of the Wanapum, meaning Last of the River People, is how Edna is known by her people. She is a first-generation student. Both her parents dropped out of public education before high school.

Edna is a tribal member of the Yakama Nation. Edna holds a Masters’s degree from the University of Washington. She is passionate about serving the underrepresented population through education.  Experience leader in serving tribal communities through academic advising, student support, and higher education needs. She currently works in the Institute as the Program Specialist for NAFOA.
