CFPB Tribal Consultation on Payday Lending, Vehicle Title, and Similar Loans

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) will hold an in-person Tribal Consultation on the CFPB's proposals under consideration for the rule-making on payday lending, vehicle title, and similar loans on June 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. Tribal leaders and their designated representatives are invited to share their views with the CFPB at the consultation.
The CFPB is committed to ensuring that this work addresses the needs of consumers in Indian Country and respects the unique relationship between the federal government and tribal nations. The Consultation will be conducted in accordance with the CFPB's Policy for Consultation with tribal governments.
