Hoċokata Ti

Hoċokata Ti is the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s cultural center and gathering space.  Hoċokata Ti’s public exhibit, Mdewakanton: Dwellers of Spirit Lake, will enhance visitors' knowledge and understanding of the Mdewakanton Dakota people and their history. An assortment of Dakota Sioux artifacts can be viewed in the public gallery. The gift shop will feature a variety of Native-made art, books, music, beaded and quilled items, and craft supplies.


Minnehaha Regional Park

Located only six miles from Minneapolis, Minnehaha Regional Park features the renowned 53-foot Minnehaha Falls, limestone bluffs, and river overlooks.   The 193-acre park also includes bike and walking paths, volleyball courts, gardens, and a disc golf course.

Mall of America

The Mall of America is the largest shopping mall in the country with over 500 stores, the Nickelodeon Universe amusement park, and the SEA LIFE Minnesota Aquarium. Mystic Lake offers a complimentary shuttle to the mall via the Mystic Express route.

Minneapolis Institute of Art

With over 90,000 artworks, the Minneapolis Institute of Art's collection includes art from six continents, spanning about 5,000 years. Highlights include works by van Gogh, Matisse, and Frank Lloyd Wright.
