Indian Tax Extenders Apply Towards 2017 Tax Filings

This morning, the President signed H.R. 1892 "The Bi-Partisan Budget Act of 2018" in to law. Included in the budget are the Indian Tax Extenders, which expired on December 31, 2016. The extenders are designed to incentivize direct investment in projects on Indian lands and the hiring of Indian people. The extenders retroactively extend for a one-year period through 2017.
