Tribal Government Representative Needed for IRS Advisory Committee
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking applicants to fill a tribal government representative vacancy and on the Advisory Committee on Tax Exempt and Government Entities (ACT).
The ACT is an organized public forum that allows the IRS and representatives to gain input on issues impacting tribal, federal, state, and local governments. The ACT also provides a vehicle for the discussion of employee plans, tax-exempt bonds, and exempt organizations. Members provide input on IRS policies, programs and procedures, and suggest improvements through a yearly final report.
Members are appointed by the Department of the Treasury and serve three-year terms, beginning in June 2016. Applicants must complete the ACT Membership Application Form 12339-C and send the application to email@example.com by September 4, 2015.
