March 22, 2021
Photo of the Week: Last week, Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen joined the Treasury Tribal Advisory Committee meeting and offered brief remarks. "I know the TTAC has played a critical role, helping our Department address tax issues important to Indian country. I know the Tribal General Welfare Exclusion Act of 2014 has been a particular point of discussion. I really hope you’ll continue to play this role while I’m in office; I’d very much like to work with you – and make sure that tax policy doesn’t get in the way of economic development in Indian Country."
— Janet Yellen, Treasury Secretary
