Policy Alert: Fiscal Relief Fund Compliance Tribal Information Session Next Week

Last week, the U.S. Department of the Treasury (Treasury) released Compliance and Reporting Guidance for all eligible governments on reporting and compliance for Fiscal Recovery Funds received from the American Rescue Plan Act. 


Treasury will be hosting a tribal information session on this guidance next Monday, June 28, 2021 from 3:00-4:00 EDTClick here to regisiter.  


Treasury has received feedback on the guidance, and they welcome more inquiries at this session. Following the session Treasury intends to issue an update based on tribal inquiries on the reporting Guidance. 

  

Each tribal government must submit an Interim Report by August 31, 2021 covering the period from March 3 - June 30 2021 and include a summary of spending by expenditure category. Additionally, each tribal government must submit a quarterly Project and Expenditure Report beginning on October 31, 2021.
