Updates on State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund Interim Reporting

On August 9, 2021, Treasury released a reporting user guide for recipients of the State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (FRF). On August 25, 2021, NAFOA hosted an information session for Tribal governments focused on the FRF Interim Report, with Treasury staff providing an overview of the report and portal submission process. The Interim Report is due on August 31, 2021 for Tribal governments. This user guide is in addition to the FRF Reporting and Compliance Guidance

A recording of the information session and copy of slide deck can be accessed at: Webinar Recording Webinar Slide Deck
Questions or other issues related to the reporting process can be directed to SLFRF@treasury.gov and tribal.consult@treasury.gov.

Additional Updates
The FRF user guide contained FAQ 1.15 which addresses release of data. Treasury has received Tribal inquiries on this FAQ and is writing to clarify that consistent with Treasury’s recovery fund practice, public data with regard to Tribal governments will consist of allocation, expenditure, and obligation data. An example of this data is available here: https://www.pandemicoversight.gov/track-the-money/funding-charts-graphs/coronavirus-relief-fund
