Tribal Government Accounting Working Group Members Announced
At NAFOA’s 2018 Fall Finance and Tribal Economies Conference, the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Chairman David Vaudt announced the members of the newly created Tribal Government Accounting Working Group (TGAWG). Given the evolving nature of economic development and programs that support tribal communities, the TGAWG will explore technical solutions to financial reporting matters, including audit issues that tribes face when reporting on a for-profit or FASB basis for their enterprises. NAFOA congratulates Lacey Horn, Hattie Mitchell, and Tasha Repp, all of whom will all play a key role in the group.
