Hosted by the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy\, and in partnership with the Native American Finance Officers Association (NAFOA) and Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC)\, they will explain the most significant changes to the renewable energy landscape brought on by the Budget Reconciliation bill (P.L. 119-21)\, as well as how recent guidance from the Department of Treasury impacts a project’s ability to qualify for clean energy tax credits for wind and solar projects. \n\n\n\nAttendees will hear from policy and tax experts who will provide insights into how these changes affect projects at all stages of development\, and ways to access additional information and support. DESCRIPTION:On March 3\, the Center for Indian Country Development and NAFOA are hosting a special webinar opportunity for Tribal leaders and Native organizations to learn how they can participate in the Survey of Native Nations. \n\n\n\nBuilt on the principles of Indigenous data sovereignty\, the Survey of Native Nations is equipping Tribes across the country with high-quality public finance data they can use in their decision-making. Native organizations also have the opportunity to make the survey available to their member Tribes and gain valuable research-based insights about their members’ economic contributions and opportunities. \n\n\n\nThis one-hour webinar will cover what you need to know about the survey’s flexible design\, data-security procedures\, and the types of data analyses that participating tribes receive.
