The Chief Financial Officer manages all fiscal, accounting and budgetary responsibilities for the Tribal Administration. Provides strategic guidance on expanding Tribal business. Responsible for directing all aspects of accounting/finance for the Tribe.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college or university or a Master’s Degree. CPA. Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in an accounting, finance or related field including a minimum of three (3) years in a Controller, Director of equivalent capacity. Strong operational experience: ideally has worked in a senior management role for seven (7) plus years in a Native American organization with progressive experience leading to at least three (3) years’ experience in operational/administrative management. Knowledge of Tribal non-profit accounting operations. Strong knowledge of Grant administration and reporting requirements. Salary Range: $160,000.00 – $175,000.00; Relocation Assistance. Tribal Government Experience Required.
