The Chief Financial Officer/Certified Public Accountant (CFO/CPA) is the Tribal Governmental focal point for financial planning, control, and execution. The CFO/CPA is primarily responsible for the design, implementation and operational oversight of the Tribal Governments financial systems, functions and controls for all resources of the Tribal Government. The CFO/CPA is also responsible for ensuring adequate internal controls are established to safeguard the assets of the Tribe.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
Must provide work experience as a Certified Public Accountant.
At least five years of progressively responsible related experience.
Must have governmental accounting experience.
Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License and be insurable by the GTB insurance carrier.< Back to Jobs
