DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY:  The Financial Controller is responsible for preparing a company's financial reports, which include balance sheets and income statements. Also assists in compliance audits and monitoring internal.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:  
>Manages accounting functions on a day-to-day basis including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, treasury management, procurement, and general ledger accounting. 
>Responsible for timely, accurate and efficient monthly  close. 
>Enhances accounting department's use of software 

Qualifications:  
>BS in Accounting or related field and minimum of five (5) years relevant accounting experience.
>Experience in Native American organization highly preferred.
>General ledger and accounting systems experience (GP); expert Excel skills preferred.
