The Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for properly performing activities related to the regulatory compliance functions as assigned. Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance. Performs all duties in accordance with company core values, objectives of the Osage Nation, internal policies and procedures, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, ONGR, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, USA Patriot Act and Privacy Act.
Advises on impact of operational processes compared to federal, state, compact, tribal nation, and company requirements as well as best practice. Conducts risk assessments to analyze integrity of gaming operations and assets. Advises on revisions to processes to align with optimal integrity and operational needs. Drafts confidential memorandums and reports for approval from the Regulatory Compliance Manager or Director of Regulatory. Compliance for distribution to management team members. Assists in department administrative work, including, but not limited to, Title 31 reports, filing, revising audit reports. Generates and maintains regulatory compliance work product in an organized manner for future reference.
Minimum of 3 years casino experience required. Knowledge working with tribal laws, regulations, auditing and/or performing BSA/Title 31-related transactions required. Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or Business, preferred. Prior compliance, or audit experience preferred.< Back to Jobs
