Support the Tribal Tax and Investment Reform Act

The Tribal Tax and Investment Reform Act seeks to create tax parity for Tribal governments and support robust Tribal economies. The legislation has gained bipartisan support in both chambers of Congress. Senators Cortez Masto (D-NV) and Murkowski (R-AK) are leading the Senate effort, while Representatives Gwen Moore (D-WI-04) and David Schweikert (R-AZ-01) are driving the House version forward. The bill contains several provisions that positively impact Indian Country and builds on NAFOA’s four years of advocacy in Congress, representing a necessary and substantial step forward for Tribal governments and businesses.
