USS Midway Museum The USS Midway Museum is an opportunity to explore a historic aircraft carrier. Explore approximately 60 exhibits and more than 30 restored aircraft. The beach is home to Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring arcades and numerous rides, including the Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster, a nearly 100-year-old National Historic Landmark. Gaslamp Quarter The Gaslamp Quarter is home to the region’s most diverse restaurants, retailers, and entertainment venues. It includes more than 100 restaurants and entertainment venues and over 80 boutiques, spas and salons, fine art galleries, and artisan shops.
