Using Tax Credits to Pay for a Majority of Your Native Housing Development
Thursday, April 23th, 2026 at 2 p.m. ET.
The Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) creates more affordable housing in the U.S. than any other program. No other program in the country offers a comparable source of funding, and Tribal nations deserve the same access to this resource as other affordable housing developers.
Since 1995, our clients have leveraged the LIHTC program to build or rehabilitate over 6,700 homes in Native communities with more than $1.2 billion in equity funds—which do not have to be repaid.
Learn how this valuable tool integrates seamlessly with NAHASDA and IHBG-Competitive awards to cover most of an affordable housing development’s cost.
