The U.S. Department of the Treasury Tribal Advisory Committee (TTAC) will be convening its 12th public meeting on Thursday, September 7 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. ET.
Register to attend either in person or virtually. Registration will close at 5:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023.
Participants are welcome to make public comments concerning TTAC and Tribal Taxation by emailing TTAC@treasury.gov. Comments are requested no later than 15 calendar days before a public meeting in order to be considered by the TTAC. The Department of the Treasury will post all comments received on its website.
The meeting will be held in person at the Treasury building and is open to the public. If you are unable to attend the TTAC meeting in person, you may participate virtually. Chose the VIRTUAL option during the registration process.
During this meeting, the TTAC will advise the Secretary of Treasury on issues related to Federal taxation and report on the work of the subcommittees on General Welfare Exclusion, Dual Taxation, and Tribal Pensions, along with other tax issues relating to Indians. In addition, the TTAC will hear public comments, identify issues requiring tribal consultation, prioritize policy issues for discussion and action, and take other actions necessary to fulfill the TTAC’s mandate.
