Reminder: Thursday, 10/24 NAFOA GWE Listening Session

Join NAFOA for a discussion on the Tribal General Welfare Exclusion (GWE) Act’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM). This listening session will be held during a critical time as GWE consultation will begin less than a month from today’s date,

NAFOA encourages tribal leaders to participate and share feedback. You may submit advance questions or comments on the proposed GWE rules via the registration form. Members of the Treasury Tribal Advisory Committee (TTAC), TTAC Advisors, and the Treasury will be in attendance.

Following the updates, NAFOA will host a listening session to answer questions and receive comments from tribal leaders on the proposed rules and regulatory changes. Live comments during the listening session are preferred, but attendees may use the Q&A function. Anyone who cannot attend the listening session may also submit comments or questions to nicholas@nafoa.org.
